Joel Mesler (b. 1974, Los Angeles) received an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute in 1999. Over the past two decades, Mesler has worked as both an art dealer and artist, having owned and operated several galleries in Los Angeles, New York, and the Hamptons. Recent solo exhibitions include David Kordansky, Los Angeles (2021); Harper's, New York (2020 and 2018); Simon Lee Gallery, London (2018); Kantor Gallery, Los Angeles (2017); and Galerie TORRI, Paris (2016). Mesler currently lives and works in Sag Habor, NY.
